Marcelina Puc recognized as future leader in medicine and scientific research

Marcelina Puc, senior, was selected by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), as one of six Chicago students for the Path to a Future in Medicine Program. This program recognizes future leaders in medicine and scientific research. Marcelina presented her project, "Apoptotic Mechanism of Ag and Br on PC12" at the CAP'14 THE pathologists' meeting at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Chicago in Sunday, September 7. In addition to presenting her project, Marcelina was recognized by the CAP president and at the opening Spotlight Event. Congratulations to Marcelina on this recognition and her continued research on PC12 cells!
