Casting call for Lane Tech students, parents, and staff!
The Cast Station Chicago is looking for REAL PEOPLE (non-actors) for an experimental social media campaign.
Would you be willing to tell us a story about something nice you’ve done for someone OR recognize someone else who has done something nice for you on camera?
Email us your stories at thecaststationchicago@gmail.com. Those selected will need to be available for a brief audition on 2/17 and 2/19. If selected following auditions, the shoot will be approx 3 hrs one day 2/29, 3/1, OR 3/2. Pays $100 for no more than 3 hrs.
Interested students and staff should schedule auditions outside of school hours.

Math Team Contest
This week Lane Tech’s Math Team maintained their first place position in the entire City. At our meet we came in first place for all of the teams-GO MATHLETES!
-The Algebra 1 Team included Izabela Bilska and Daniel King, who tied for 2nd place, Si Yuan Ye and David Cheung, who tied for 3rd place individually, and Gavin Atack and Eric Chueng who tied for 4th place individually (Division B).
-The Geometry Team included Leonidas Georgopoulos who placed 3rd place individually (Division A).
-The Algebra 2 Team was lead by Tanner Patton who cam in 1st place individually, Natalie Simon and Ari Greenberg who tied for 2nd place individually, and Urooj Amir who placed 4th (Division B).
-The Precalculus Team was lead by Maggie Scholle who came in 2nd (Division B) and Guochuan Zhang who came in 4th (Division A).
