We are excited to begin our Quick Start process tomorrow. A copy of the Quick Start Schedule is attached here: Quick Start Schedule. Please attend Quick Start during your assigned time unless different arrangements have been made for you. If you cannot attend Quick Start during your assigned time, please complete the Alternative Arrangements Form. If you cannot attend Quick Start at all, please complete the Late Start Form. If you cannot attend Quick Start OR Late Start, you will have to register on the first day of school. Attached is a map of the Quick Start Stations. Please feel free to take a look as you navigate through the process.
Fees: Every student MUST attend our Quick Start process. If a student does not have their fees, PLEASE send them through the process. Money is NOT a requirement for attendance. Students who paid online in advance will NOT have to go through the fee station. All students will receive their textbooks and programs during Quick Start.
What to Bring to Quick Start: Please bring the forms that you printed from the pdf at the end of online registration. Your packet should have included the following: Quick Start Checklist, Media Consent Form, Fee Sheet, Student Medical Form, and a Family Income Form. Do not forget your bookbag to carry your textbooks! If you are in grades 8, 10,11,or 12, please bring your ID from last year to help with the process ( not mandatory but recommended) . Any student who does NOT have their forms printed will be required to print them upon arrival at Lane Tech and this will lengthen their Quick Start process.
Programming Issues: If there is an issue with your program, please click on the following link to get assistance: Programming Issues. There will also be counselors on hand to fix any programming issues that were not resolved in advance. Electives and teachers will NOT be changed. The only changes that will be honored are ones based on a school error.
