Seniors can pick up yearbooks beginning Thursday, May 21 during lunch periods and after school until 4:15 in 137.

Juniors can pick up yearbooks on Friday, May 22 during lunch periods in 137.

All other students can pick up yearbooks on Tuesday, May 26 during lunch periods and after school until 4:15 in 137.

If you did not order a yearbook, there will be a limited number of yearbooks available for purchase during the designated class times listed above.  Extras will be sold on a first come basis.

History Fair Participants Qualify for Nationals!

Congratulations to Andrew Chipman and AJ Adams, our History Fair coordinators, who had 2 students qualify to go on to the national round.  Here are the two NHD (National History Day) qualifiers, who will compete at the University of Maryland on June 15:

--Lena Brün for her documentary: Herbert Brün's Worlds of Sound: How a Composer Advanced Musical Science
--John Blalack for his paper: From Prairie to Powerhouse: How the Galena and Chicago Union Railroad Spurred Chicago Onward

Math Team Competes at State!

Congratulations to the Lane Tech Math Team who competed in the Illinois Council for Teachers of Mathematics State Finals Math competition at the University of Illinois last weekend.  Ari Greenberg competed in the Algebra 1 individual written competition, along with Nicole Dadoly, Nick Pope, Karolina Rak, Natalie Simon, Daniel Weber, and Kaikai Ye in the Freshmen-Sophomore team competition.
