Urban-Eco Indiegogo Project

Please contribute or share the Urban-Eco Indiegogo project!  Through the project we are creating an Urban-Eco Scholarship for a Lane Tech High School student to volunteer and conduct conservation in Kenya.  The student's research will be published in the non-profits on-line journal fall of 2014.  Deadline March 10.

All Chicago Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 28, due to the extreme cold temperatures and high winds that have been forecasted.  CPS will continue to monitor weather conditions and make a determination about whether to resume classes as scheduled on Wednesday.

Regional Science Fair Results

The following LTAC students competed in the regional science fair today and will be moving on to the city science fair held at the Museum of Science and Industry: Daniel Puczko, Megan Altman, and Hayley Wallenfeldt.  Congratulations to these students and to their science teachers Ms. Rose and Ms. Schnell!


The following high school students competed in the regional science fair today and will be moving on to the city science fair held at the Museum of Science and Industry: Bushraa Shamshuddin, Ariel Jordan-Zamora, Marcelina Puc, Eros Garcia, William Harper, Kamil Lungu, Connie Machuca, Rilla McKeegan, Neha Motwani, and Guochuan Zhang.
