Deferred Action Plan

Wednesday, January 23rd, there will be a student-run informational meeting in the lunch room at 3:30 pm.

Everyone should be granted the opportunity to attend college!  This meeting will explain what the Deferred Action Plan is and the process it entails.  There will also be information about scholarship opportunities for undocumented students.

Everyone, regardless of their legal status, is welcome to attend.

Congrats to Lane Alum, Kiara Lanier, on making it to Hollywood!

Kiara Lanier (Class of 2009) auditioned for American Idol in Chicago and is going to Hollywood!

While at Lane, Kiara was the vocalist for the Jazz Ensemble, published her work in the Literary Magazine, and was part of the Slam Team.  She performed one of her pieces at Louder Than a Bomb, an annual poetry slam held in Chicago.

Congrats to the LTAC students who participated in the Regional Science Fair!

LTAC students Dylan Haugh-Ewald, Isha Gani, Hugh Yeh, and Carlos Reyes Zgarrick participated in the Regional Science Fair at Northeastern University today.  All of them won top ratings and will be advancing to the City Science Fair in March.
