The Lane Tech Spirit Store is now open!

It is being operated by the Lane Tech PTSO. Our regular store hours are Fridays from 11:00 to 1:00, and will be open during the Open House on November 4 and for Report Card Pickup on November 13. We accept cash only at this time. We are working towards accepting credit/debit cards for your convenience. We are also creating an online store for orders to be shipped. We will display online everything we carry in the store so you can see what is available and the price. 

Best of all, the store proceeds go to Lane PTSO and back to the school.

Support Lane Tech at the 4th Annual "Shop for Schools on Roscoe"

Roscoe Street shop owners will be giving back 20% of their pre-tax sales to all local schools participating in the event. When you make a purchase, mention "Lane Tech" and and we will receive 20% of the sale!  Pearls and Cake, Village Paperie & Gifts, New Discoveries, Cinnamon, kickin', Denim Lounge, a pied, Little Threads, Fixture, Roscoe Village Bikes, LUSH, and Glam to Go are just a few of the many stores participating in the shopping day.

Clothing Drive for Homeless Veterans

Lane Tech will be holding a clothing drive to benefit Homeless Veterans next week.  Clothing will be collected in front of the main office on the 25th and 26th of October.  Men's, Women's and children's clothing is needed.  Blankets, jackets and shoes can certainly be used.  For further information please contact Mr. DeRoss at mdeross@cps.edu.

The Sophomore Girls Volleyball Team won the City Championship.  Well done!

Bowling Tryouts & Track and Field Information

Bowling
Boys and girls bowling tryouts are on October 23rd at timber lanes bowling center at 4pm. Timber lanes is located on Irving Park Road about two blocks east of Damen. Students trying out should have their own bowling ball, shoes and past experience bowling with a 130 average. If you have any questions, you can see Mr. Hofman in the Driver Ed. building.

Swimming and Diving Team

Any boys interested in joining the swimming and diving team should come to conditioning or speak to Coach Rummelhof.

Conditioning will begin Monday October 22 and continue
Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday day from 6:15am - 7:30am.

Tryouts will take place on Monday November 19th at 6:15a-7:30a and 3:30p - 6:00p

Student should meet in the Lunch Room at 6:00am

Anyone student that wants to participate in conditioning and tryout for the team must complete the following. You cannot condition or tryouts until completed.
-Registered online at    www.LaneTechAquatics.org
-Have a Current IHSA Physical. Note to Freshman- The physical turned in to the school is NOT accepted. An IHSA physical must be turned in.
-Go online and have your parents fill out the Athletics Forms under athletics at www.lanetech.org


Make sure to bring
-Workout attire including running shoes
-Swimming attire
-Reusable Water Bottle - Filled with ice and water
-Good attitude and willingness to work hard
