Club Urban-Eco Encourages School Wide Participation As Students Stand Against Illegal Ivory Trade on Oct 4!

Just five days after the first meeting, the Urban-Eco club members are well on their way to promoting their belief in conservation and volunteer work. Friday October 4,  the Urban-Eco club is encouraging the staff and students at Lane Tech to take a stand against illegal ivory trade and join the international iworry campaign by wearing red and white. As part of the campaign the members have decided to adopt a baby elephant who has been orphaned by a poacher and is  now living in the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. Keep up the good work Lane Scholars!
