Sophomore, Taylor Rebora, won 1st place in the I Am high school art exhibition.
I AM is an annual juried art exhibition project by HumanThread that aims to help Chicago's youth "explore their identity and how they are perceived in the world they live in by their peers, their community and the adults that surround them." I AM opens on March 15, 2013.
There are 65 pieces from 8 Chicago high schools, and the art is quite remarkable
Students were challenged to think deeply about who they are, and express themselves visually.
The art in the show is as diverse as Chicago.
